ABOUT ROSEHILL ENERGY

Overview

Rosehill Energy Plc is a new entrant to the vibrant oil & gas market in resource-rich Central Asia.

Chines Beam PumpRosehill currently produces oil at the North Urtabulak Field in the Republic of Uzbekistan pursuant to a Production Enhancement Contract between Rosehill and the state-owned oil company of Uzbekistan, Uzbekneftigaz (UNG). Rosehill’s agreement with UNG is confirmed by a Decree of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Under the contract, Rosehill conducts workovers of existing wells and is implementing the drilling of a new horizontal development well at the North Urtabulak Field. The contract also provides that the nearby Umid and South Kemachi Fields will be additional joint projects between Rosehill and UNG. The three fields are located in southwestern Uzbekistan.

Rosehill acquired the production contract from the international oilfield services concern Baker Hughes in 2005. Experienced Baker Hughes personnel who have been involved in operations since 1999 are working at the North Urtabulak Field.

Rosehill intends to expand from its solid grounding in production to exploration targets in the region.
