Rosehill’s Production Enhancement Contract (PEC)

Rosehill’s role as the contractor under the PEC consists of three components:

  • The conduct of workover operations at the North Urtabulak Field.
  • The drilling of a new horizontal well at the North Urtabulak Field.
  • The rehabilitation on agreed terms of the Umid and South Kemachi Fields.

Workover Operations

Since 1999 the Contractor has worked over 32 different wells at the North Urtabulak Field producing roughly 1 million barrels of oil, and is currently conducting workovers at 16 wells. Incremental production oil at these wells is allocated as follows:

First three (3) years of production
Party Allocation
Rosehill 50%
Uzbek Partner 50%
Remaining Five (5) Years of Production
Party Allocation
Rosehill 20%
Uzbek Partner 80%

The New Horizontal Well at the North Urtabulak Field

Under Phase 1 of the Project Development Plan set out in the PEC, the Contractor is to drill a new horizontal well in the northwest portion of the North Urtabulak Field.

The Umid and South Kemachi Fields

Under the PEC Rosehill and the Uzbek state oil company will jointly rehabilitate these fields on agreed terms.
